We charge an initial once-off setup fee of R1 500 (excl. VAT) to register your dealership on our database and to provide you with a personalised Health and Safety file for your dealership. This Health and Safety file has been specifically customised for the Motoring Industry in South Africa and fully complies with Government regulations as required by the Department of Labour. It includes the following:
- Complete Occupational Health and Safety Act with Amendments and Regulations
- Emergency plan and checklist
- Close down procedure
- Safe operating procedures for all your hydraulic and portable electrical equipment
- Operating procedures for your workshop
- All legal appointment letters
- Contractor’s agreement
- Smoke-free policy
- All monthly Health and Safety Reports
We also charge a monthly retainer fee of R1 000 (excl. VAT) to personally visit your dealership on a monthly basis to inspect your workshop for possible deviations from the Occupational Health and Safety Act. This inspection is a thorough physical inspection by one of our experienced consultants and covers, amongst others, the following:
- All fire extinguishers
- First aid box contents
- All hydraulic equipment
- All portable electrical equipment
- All ladders
- Washbay facilities
- Personal protective equipment
- Kitchen and ablution facilities
Once the inspection is complete, we provide you with a written report outlining exactly what you need to do in order to correct any faults that might pose a hazard in your workshop.
